Aereoporto di Reggio Emilia, Reggio Emilia, Italy
On September 22nd at the Campovolo, an abandoned airfield in Reggio Emilia, thousands of people are expected to attend "Italia Loves Emilia", one of the biggest music events ever organized in Italy and for very good humanitarian reasons where the funds raised will benefit the Earthquake victims of the Emilia Region.
The show will be featuring some of the most popular artists of this country.
Highlighting their voices again to the cause on stage "Live" will be Biagio Antonacci, Claudio Baglioni, Elisa, Tiziano Ferro, Giorgia, Lorenzo Jovanotti, Ligabue, Litfiba, Fiorella Mannoia, Negramaro, Nomadi, Laura Pausini, Renato Zero, and Zucchero.
Just as those American artists who gathered to record "We are the World" in 1985 for African relief and more recent in 2009 the Italian female artists who came together in Milan to perform the concert "Amiche Per L'Abruzzo" raising 2 million Euros' for the earthquake victims of the Abruzzo Provence, the music world again responds unselfishly to the needs of their Italian brothers and sisters.
The 25 Euro Tickets for the event go on sale Thursday June 23rd at all ticket outlets.
