Description

Direct from Lucifer's drinks cabinet to the Big Ten Inch, Top Shelf Jazz are a band whose original tunes are so distinctive and licentious they have spawned their own delectable style: filthy swing. Impeccable 1940’s style jazz, served up with obscene lyrics - if you love a bit of naughty, and you’ve got a saucy wit, then step this way.

Author, disc jockey, raconteur and former Sounds, NME and Black Echoes scribe Penny Reel heads up the pack on the decks, spinning all original 45’s and 78’s. Upstairs The Gents provide their customary cockney piano knees-up. All in all, the best vintage sounds in town!
