For the second time at the ICAS Suite, Dis-patch and Grand Prix d’Amour are presenting a special club night which will serve as a much-needed meeting point of some of the leading producers and acts from the two cities.

The Belgrade crew is gravitating around simply the best club Belgrade has had in the last decade, the cosy boat called 20/44, situated several hundred meters from the confluence of the Danube and river Sava. Over the course of the last few years, the club has become a special experience for a number of international DJs, who have enjoyed playing on a shanty boat with a more than solid PA, and a steadily sold-out crowd of 200. Club 20/44 does not have a guestlist nor a website, and does not do any advertizing. It has survived on the Belgrade club scene, where clubs usually disappear after only one or two seasons, due to its incredible warmth and honesty. And the music it represents is nothing other than that.

Some of the local acts have built there styles and followings through residencies on this boat, in the first place the ones we present in Berlin: 33-10-3402 or DJ Schwabe, who is dropping some of the weirdest selections Belgrade has to offer. In Berlin they are meeting up with Nicholas Desamory, producer with a long history of involvement in the Berlin music scene, who has also performed one of his first live sets of his new project exactly at 20/44. The music lineup will also be extended by another headlining act invited together by the both organizations, and the Dis-patch resident George Michael Jackson. Their joint presence will transpose the energy of the cult Belgrade club into an entirely new zone, within the diverse program of the ICAS Suite, and test its sounds in this special and first showcase of the club in Berlin.

As a serious addition to the music program, the two organizations, in collaboration with CTM, will also present a lecture from Marcell Mars as part of CTM/ICAS Denfabrik discourse program.
