With eight Grammy Awards, and a further 22 nominations between them, the acclaimed songwriters (and longtime friends) Mary Chapin Carpenter and Shawn Colvin bring you this very special live show. Performing as an intimate duo they play material spanning their vast catalogues as well as some of their favourite songs.

Carpenter has won two Country Music Awards and two Academy of Country Music awards for her vocals. Recently, she was honoured with the Americana Association’s esteemed Spirit of Americana Free Speech in Music Award, which recognises artists who have used their work to raise awareness and promote free speech. Past recipients include Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Joan Baez, Judy Collins and Steve Earle. Colvin’s latest album, recorded in Nashville, features a group of stellar musicians, including Alison Krauss, Emmylou Harris, Bill Frisell and Jakob Dylan. Her fabulous songs are enriched by the intimate, personal and often hilarious stories that she weaves into her live concerts.
