Be part of a fantastic free event to celebrate the arrival of the Olympic Torch in Aberystwyth. Join Welsh band 'Kids in Glass Houses' and young local talent for a free outdoor concert on Vicarage Fields, Llanbadarn Fawr, Aberystwyth.
Around 100 secondary school pupils from Ceredigion will welcome the Olympic Torch through the medium of song, film and the spoken word. Ceredigion Music Service and Theatr Felinfach have produced a 20 minute show (to be presented in two parts) that will tell the "story" of Ceredigion
The show entitled "Yn Geredigion i Gyd" (We're all Ceredigion) pays tribute to Ceredigion's historic and cultural icons and celebrates the history and legends of land and sea, and aims to get to the heart the unique character of the Cardi!
Thrown into the mix will be a musical ensemble, a rock band and a 70-strong choir, as well as 14 storytellers and a series of striking images to tie everything together.
This is a free event and tickets are not required.
