Sputnik & Traffic live present:

Chameleons vox is the continuation of The Chameleons UK, arguably the most widely influential guitar band ever to come out of Manchester England. Chameleons vox features vocalist and principle composer Mark Burgessand Chameleons drummer John Lever, who are joined by long time collaborator on Mark’s 1994 solo project Sons of God, Neil Dwerryhouse on guitar, and from the Manchester band Bushart, guitarist Chris Oliver and bassist Ray Bowles. Chameleons are now reaching a whole new generation of fans to swell the considerable loyal following that the band has established and over the last two years have played sell out concerts in the UK, Germany, Holland, Greece, Italy, Spain and Portugal. The band’s first album ‘Script of the Bridge, released in 1983 is considered by a great many to be a masterpiece, and is about to be reissued as a commemorative two disc vinyl set engineered at Abbey Road by studio regular Guy Massey and Abbey Road resident engineer over the last 40 years, Steve Rook, the team responsible for many of the recent ‘Beatles’ remasters. The remastered edition of ‘Script of the Bridge’ will be available this coming October 2011 and to celebrate this reissue, Chameleons are embarking on a U.S. tour this coming November 2011. Chameleons are back, sounding bigger and better than ever.
