Who better to push things even further into 2012 than the titan of techno Andrew Weatherall. A certified stalwart to the British dance circuit, Weatherall has cherry picked pioneering electronic talent to play at “Live From Outer Space”. Curating this multi-dimensional musical platform - Weatherall will be the focal point of the night. Combining the bleeding edge Sub-Sonic format with his own inimitable musical style and appreciation of the avant-garde. Subsonic has been an integral part of the Subculture website reporting on the best of emerging international talent. SubSonic Live is the live manifestation of the concept. The monthly event showcases emerging international talent across 2 stages, and doths a respectful cap to the innovators that have helped shape the contemporary music landscape in the ‘Legends Room’. SubSonic Live is a welcome addition to the London calendar and will be bi-monthly through 2012.

As one of the worlds most respected DJs, Andrew Weatherall has shaped the evolution of the British electronic music landscape. Being one of the first ever acid house producers, this show will see him play a highly intimate gig so fasten your seatbelts!

Live performances will be delivered by Night Angels and Warm Digits. Winning plaudits for their arresting fusion of acerbic guitars and metronomic rhythms, Warm Digits will be taking the atmosphere to fever pitch…prepare to be stunned!

The Legends Room plays host to Optimo. Comprised of DJ pair Twitch and Jonny Wilkes, the dynamic duo have sent ripples through dance community with their original take on eighties liquid funk. Twitch also founded the ‘Optimo’ clubnight in response to the rising popularity of 4/4 techno in the nineties. The event has housed a hotbed of superstar DJ talent, with the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Fourtet and Justus Kohncke stepping up to its podium.

Perry are proud to have Scott Fraser and Timothy J. Fairplay gracing The Discovery Room. Something of a sentinel to Chicago’s house music circuit, Fraser’s distinguished career has been dedicated in equal measure to the club scenes in Chicago and Berlin. An influential percussionist in his own right, he has helped Black Nation Records achieve cult status.

Tipped as a shinning music mind for this generation, Timothy J. Fairplay will be bringing his radiant electronic arrangements to this auditory extravaganza. Armed to the teeth with synthesisers, prepare to be disarmed by his low-slung funk melodies.
