As its name suggests, this highly select musical salon, hosted by renowned English eccentric Robyn Hitchcock, represents something of a fantasy scenario for its distinguished guests (and for its audience)

, bringing together global Scottish star KT Tunstall, English folk royalty Martin and Eliza Carthy, Kansas City’s Krystle Warren, whose voice has been described as a mix between Jeff Buckley’s and Nina Simone’s and alt.country experimentalist Howe Gelb, for an intimate evening of free-wheeling musical collaboration. Freed from the pressures of studios and deadlines, yet buoyed by the buzz of a live audience, these six highly contrasting kindred spirits will take turns joining in with songs they know and songs they’ve only just met.
