THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG all day music festival in Churchill Square!

Edmonton Next Gen, a department of The City of Edmonton, has asked OLD UGLY to put together a day festival of excellent local music in the downtown heated tent complex built for winter festivities in Churchill Square! Come join us for a dozen of Edmonton’s very talented musicians (truly only the tip of the iceberg). There are two things Edmontonians should know:


A) Winter in Edmonton is something to be embraced. It forces us all into a shared experience, a yearly trial that makes us all stronger as individuals and as a community. That’s what this whole tent complex is all about.

B) Edmonton has come to be known by the international blog community as something of a northern music mecca for both our current artists and many of our expats living elsewhere now. This line up showcases a few of those self-same artists who are earning our city such an excellent reputation, often unbeknownst to the very citizens who live here.

So on Sunday January 29th come gather around the hearth of Edmonton’s overwhelming talent to be warmed and informed.
