YORK FIBBERS PRESENTS KING CHARLES
Psychedelic vibrant acoustica shaman who cares not for the cool/uncool guidelines. Wild hair, pirate shirts and waxed moustache to the fore, our dandy of the underworld describes his visions in raunchy skiffle-rock, operatics and shanties.
Early years spent learning the cello, singing in a choir, writing poetry and getting into folk and country via Bob Dylan quite naturally led our hero to the uniquely English tradition of psych-inflected pastoral whimsy. He’s toured with Laura, Noah and Mumfords and now he’s in York.
