Former Bullies
Sex hands and Omi Palone
FORMER BULLIES
Formed in their earliest incarnation way back in 2003, Manchester’s Former Bullies have seen their fair share of hip bands and empires rise and fall, with enough line up changes along the way to give fellow Manc stalwarts The Fall a run for their money. …Through it all, founder members Nick Ainsworth (guitar/vox) and Tom Settle (drums) have seemed content to plough their own rich furrow of northern english garage pop.

SEX HANDS
‘Sex Hands’ were due on 15 minutes ago, but so far there’s just some kids tinkering with the instruments on the floor. With no announcement and precious little sound-checkery they abruptly twang-out their elastic band ‘lectric guitar sound like a Church-Group Rock band minus the Christ. They bum-pummel the fuck out of two chords for three minutes-a-piece.
It’s pure unadulterated Rock N’ Roll without pretension, drilling simple riffs into the ground until dulled into nothing.

It’s been a while…
