Having secured a reputation as one of the most prominent bands of the 1990s, the Lightning Seeds went on hiatus at the end of the decade after the anthemic Three Lions went supernova in the charts. Ian Broudie moved largely into production as well as releasing some solo records of his own. Then 2006 marked the band’s reformation, and festival and gig goers have been re-living the glorious days of ‘Jollification’ without a shred of disappointment since.
