Ce que nous proposent Jorge Strunz et Ardeshir Farah, harmonieux duo issu du Costa Rica et de l’Iran, c’est Journey Around the Sun, rien de moins ! L’album, sorti en mars dernier, est en effet une mégadose de bonne énergie solaire … , avec ses airs tissés de jazz, de flamenco et d’influences latines et moyen-orientales, tout ça rendu avec perfection sur deux guitares acoustiques, et ce, avec une passion telle qu’ils avaient réussi, en 1994, à soulever la foule lors d’un de nos grands événements extérieurs. Un coup de coeur renouvelé à chacun de leur passage.

Jorge Strunz and Ardeshir Farah, the harmonious pairing of musicians from Costa Rica and Iran, respectively, return to take us on nothing less than a Journey Around the Sun! The album, released this past March, is in fact a megadose of healthy solar energy, a musical tapestry woven from jazz, flamenco and Latin and Middle Eastern influences, all of it played to perfection on two acoustic guitars, with all the passion that conquered the crowd when they headlined one of our major outdoor events in 1994. A musical love affair renewed with each and every visit.
