SPECTOR
Spector are the new band of Fred Machpherson, former vocalist of both Les Incompetents and Ox.Eagle.Lion.Man and co-host of MTV2’s Gonzo. They describe their sound rather ambitiously, but rightly so, somewhere between Roxy Music and The Strokes, The Killers and Kanye West, Pulp and R&B and Frank Sinatra. Forming at the start of 2011 they quickly came to the attention of Luv Luv Luv Records, home to Florence & The Machine and Blood Orange, who released their debut single ‘Never Fade Away’. With their national television debut on Later with Jools Holland days away and their every growing fanbase, catch Spector in a intimate setting while you can!

DAVID’S LYRE
David’s Lyre is the brainchild of Paul Dixon who makes alternative, big beat, pop music. Initially gaining attention for his brilliant take on the Ellie Goulding song ‘Under The Sheets’, he has since released a string of original EPs and singles, with his debut album ready to drop early next year, as well as remixing the likes of Marina and the Diamonds and Everything Everything, and in turn has been remixed himself by The Last Skeptik and JaKwob.

SILVER SOUVENIRS
Silver Souvenirs are a Birmingham based 5-piece combining an encapsulating pop sensibility with edgy, danceable math-rock riffs. Their mantra: “to make people dance!”. In their relatively short lifespan they have progressed through several sounds and drummers and have finally landed on their feet with new drummer Jeremy Hatton, and a new progressive sound which has seen them combine their traditional math-rock edge with a new wave pop sound which has already elevated them to new levels on the local scene.
