An Appointment with The Waterboys
From their eponymous debut in 1983 to their critically acclaimed new album ‒ An Appointment with Mr Yeats(an all-new collection of songs inspired by the work of the iconic Irish poet), Mike Scott and co. have blazed a distinctive trail of rousing rock ‘n’ roll, literate acoustic soul, and Celtic firebrand folk.
Tonight, the band’s new seven-piece incarnation (including legendary fiddler Steve Wickham and Irish chanteuse Katie Kim) performs tracks from this new CD alongside (in Mike Scott’s own words) ‘a killer set of vintage Waterboys’ to please the most ardent fans.

nigeyb What's your Waterboys verdict? I thought it was wonderful. Despite the length I was engaged throughout. I even had a tear in my eye during the more sentimental numbers. The Yeats stuff is amazing. Band looked to be loving it too. A good night out.
