Togakure reactions to the legendary Nick Cave and his bad seeds, and the entirely too-delightful musical ruckus they create. 4. Disco balls in MSG are incredible. 5. Meg looks absolutely incredible. 6. Slowly Turning Into You has solidified it's place in my list of absolute favorite White Stripes songs.

2. Many people chose to sit out the openers. What a shame. Porter Wagoner was brilliant years and years ago, and being so well dressed on the 24th he still put on a great show. 3. Grinderman, despite all the naysayers, was an excellent act, and a brilliant opening for the White Stripes. In lieu of writing a full review of this show--for the show was grand enough to warrant a full review by all attendees--I will take my space here in the shoutbox to make a few points. 1. The White Stripes played a monstrously exciting show at MSG. It was singly one of the greatest musical experiences of my life, rating just about as high as learning about The White Stripes in the first place.

Homest4r Long story short, The White Stripes played incredible, Grinderman really sucked, and a pretty large majority of MSG was either high or wasted. Awesome concert.

mastercheif91 Good lord, Grinderman was the worst fucking band I have ever seen in my entire life. It hurt my ears. Literally. The Stripes then made up for it 100 times over, and kicked my ass.
