In 2000 Howe Gelb ambled over to the Barbican to host (Upside) Down Home, a magical twisted evening, of Americana music with friends. It ended up being voted Gig of the Year by Time Out readers and critics.

Now seven years later he returns to host another evening featuring music from many past projects including; ‘Sno Angel, Giant Sand, Arizona Amp and Alternator, The band of Blacky Ranchette, OP8, Lull and Ogle (Some Piano), as well as (he tells us) new songs he has not written yet.

Confirmed so far is Mercury nominated Scottish singer Isobel Campbell, Emiliana Torrini, Mary Margaret O’Hara, Giant Sand, Sno’ Angel Choir, Lonna Kelly and more special guests, kith and kin and past collaborators to be announced.
