It was a cool venue though a little too overcrowded, but I have no complaints as I quite liked venue (roof terrace in particular was nice). The lastfm room was ok but didn't stay there for too long as I was enjoying music in main room too much.

i heard a few tracks from my own playlist in the upstairs... :D

  • jonanamary

I honestly couldn't tell that it was a user-generated playlist - it sounded like exactly the kind of stuff that would have been played at the Big Chill House anyway, tbh.

gooo what I've lost, so sorry... won't miss the next!

Couldn't get in at 10ish (1 in 1 out), came back about midnight and got in... my impression is that the next one could be at a bigger, louder venue, cos it was rammed and unless you pushed your way right to the front you couldn't hear much. Good tunes though.

Whoever wrote the description forgot to add the important info... You don't need tickets, and I believe it's free entry before 9pm. I'll check that and add it to the description when I know.

brilliant concept, definitely hope to make it (and perhaps help force some shpongle on everybody, heh)

    May 2007
  • mokele

johannp, I think the music will still stay along the lines of the acts that are playing, taking influence from the attendees. It wont be as simple as a group radio is, it will be manually done, an automated system for this would obviously cause problems in this environment.

    May 2007
  • johannp

problem is, if the song selection is popularity based, with enough attendees it'll all be big acts like radiohead anyway... just look at the charts for any big enough last.fm group

    May 2007
  • skiplecariboo

the concept is so well thought... i wish i could be there :(( musical revolution is taking over ;-)
