Pioneering British group Empirical return with more of their sophisticated, fresh-sounding jazz, expertly incorporating elements of classical, African and Cuban music. This young, fiery British band have somehow absorbed the history of jazz in their short lives and fashioned something original and exciting from it, gaining fans from both sides of the Atlantic, and winning the MOBO Best Jazz Award 2010.
