Tangled Hair
Emerging from the ashes of math-melody masters Colour, Tangled Hair began its life as vocalist and guitarist Alan Welsh’s dissertation project. When ex-band mate James Trood was reeled in to play drums, he suggested he liked the songs enough to play them in front of discerning listeners. Bassist Alex Lloyd completed the line up shortly after, taking Tangled Hair from studio project to ‘actual band’ and the trio have been playing their distinct blend of minimal indie pop tech ever since, sharing the stage with the likes of Tera Melos, Adebisi Shank, The James Cleaver Quintet, Men and Geoff Farina in the process.

Suffer Like G Did
A four-piece instrumental band with hints of funk, soul and jazz. These influences have directed their music into new territories that aren’t heard in most other popular math rock bands. SLGD have been developing a strong following since regrouping in 2009 and in 2010 recorded and self-released their debut ‘Orange EP’. They are currently recording the follow up ‘Raspberry EP’ to be released in late summer.
