Subbacultcha! @ Museumnacht
Dirty Beaches is Vancouver-based nomad/crooner Alex Zhang Hungtai. He’s been compared to Elvis, Suicide, Jerry Lee Lewis and David Lynch and he’s made one hell of a badass record called Badlands. It’s a pretty exhilarating collection of songs, ranging from heartbreaking pop songs to violent uptempo road music.
We’ve been playing it nonstop here at the office, so we’re thrilled to finally see him live. He’s playing at the Foam Pop-in store as part of the Museumnacht.
