We’ve teamed up with Orchestre Nouveau, an independent classical orchestra, and two of Melbourne’s best independent artists to present an unmissable night of great songwriting and textured indie music combined with the talent and musicianship of classical musicians.

As if we needed anything else to make the night AWESOME, we’ll be launching the Autumn Gray & Orchestre Nouveau “Live at Fed Square” album on the night too.

Charles Jenkins & The Zhivagos, (ex-Ice Cream Hands) will headline the night and Mark Lang from Skipping Girl Vinegar will open the night with a special solo show - both backed by Orchestre Nouveau.

Orchestra principle, conductor and composer Zach Tay has commissioned and co-written orchestral arrangements to complement each band’s unique sound.

This will be one night of soaring, beautiful, moving, fun, tiny, loud, delicate and raucous Australian music.
