Bellowhead (UK)
In de virtuoze band Bellowhead roeren elf Britten de meest uiteenlopende muziekstijlen door elkaar: bigband, soul, rock, folk, jazz en klassiek. Ze maken daar een vlammend brouwsel van. Rode draad is de Engelse folkmuziekgeschiedenis. Accordeon, strijkers, blazers, percussie en doedelzak worden in een swingende muzikale heksenketel geworpen.
De beste Britse liveband volgens BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
