An intimate acoustic evening of quirky, smart folk music from British singer-songwriter Hannah Werdmuller, at Oakland’s independent used and new bookstore Book Zoo. Armed with a guitar/ukulele and a powerful set of lungs, Hannah weaves quirky lyrics and catchy tunes into tales of zoo animals, thieves, murderers and lovers. Hannah’s debut album, Pre-Apocalyptic Love Song, was released in November 2010.
Book Zoo is a new and used bookstore in Oakland, CA. You never know what you will find in this motley zoo where each book is a relic, with more stories than just what is printed on the pages. Book Zoo is the ultimate browsing store because each book leads you deeper and deeper.
