Oooh, thanks, mouldymould. I'll make a playlist and try and relive the show! And don't worry, everyone - smoke-free gigs from now on. Can't do much about the talking though.

Gigs are always ruined by talkers, especially bigger shows and bands. People should learn to shut the fuck up during the set, or fuck off and listen at home. Usually it's a lot do with idiots bringing their stupid girls who dont like the music, and just want to chat the whole night. Not many girls there, but we had the stupid monkeys and fankids taking over the talking instead.

That night I couldn't stop coughing until the following night because of all the fucking smokers. shame the smoking ban didn't happen a day earlier!

Hope I'm not commenting on the negatives here, but agree with nedchambers about smoking -it was pretty hard going; but for one night we would have breathed easier! As for a set list -I remember it was mostly new album, fewer off 'the eye of every storm' and one off 'times of grace'.Nothing earlier than that. Those off 'the eye of every storm' came across well and i'm re-listening to it now.

Still, I had a great time. I distinctly remember loving evey moment, and mostly standing with my eyes closed, letting the enormity of their sound wash over me. This being Neurosis, I guess there are no decent bootleg recordings of the show knocking around? I could at least then try and piece together the setlist that's currently locked somewhere in my fuzzy brain...

This was my first Neurosis show. Been listening to them since 'Through Silver', and travelled down from Yorkshire for this gig. Unfortunately I got a bit excited and drank too much, meaning I can't remember any specific moments after the opening two tracks, and 'To The Wind' :-(

They should have opened up the balconies too. Everyone there was like a head taller than me, I couldn't see a thing haha

The crowd was fucking awful. I don't understand why you'd feel the need to talk during bands' sets, it means you don't get as much out of the music and you ruin it for other people. Plus the number of people smoking was shockingly bad. Some gimps next to me were smoking like chimneys and blowing the smoke in my direction and clearly weren't taking any hints i was giving off that i didn't like it.

Agreed with you all, my first Neurosis gig and absolutely awesome! The new songs sounded so good live, especially 'to the wind'. I too was dissapointed with talkers in the quiet bits, but overall an unforgettable experience

Awesome gig, these guys are really on top form. Very disappointing crowd though. Not too bad into the very middle but for the most people seemed to be there to talk and not listen to the music. I know people enjoy different things in different ways but if all you want to do is natter why not leave the main area and go back behind the bar so all of those trying to get lost in the music can do so

Crowd seemed ok where I was, was actually thinking at least there was some energy and spark about the audience unlike most gigs i've been to where people just fucking stand there without even moving there bleedin' nuggets! Although it was a bit annoying when the giant behind me went chose to stand still for 90% and then go nuts for literally only five seconds and spilt my snakebite all over me.

Hostile,it was probably as bad as I have seen for the quality of fans there. Something that popular always attracts the assholes, so a big venue with loads of people is doomed from the start. One serious thing people need to realise is that a gig is no fucking request line! No one gives a fuck about what your favourite song is, and you shouting your mouth off the whole night because you want it
