Description

The first of two unbelievable nights as we present the funk and soul giant, hailed prophet of acid jazz, Roy Ayers live on stage with hip hop legend Pete Rock at Band on the Wall. In what promises to be one of the concerts of the Summer, the gig is going to beat to Ayers 70s groove - think classics like Everybody Loves The Sunshine, Red, Black & Green, Funk In The Hole, We Live In Brooklyn, Searchin' and you're clocking the headnod vibe the man's going to be pushing out. With Roy Ayers on vibraphone and vocals, alongside Pete Rock taking on beats, decks and rhymes - and featuring sax/keys & percussion - it's going to be one sweet night of mighty music.

The Band:
Roy Ayers – Vibes and Voice
Pete Rock – Beats and Rhymes
John Pressley – Voice and percussion
Ray Gaskins – Sax/Keys
