Wed 13 Jul – Soundgarden, The Mars Volta
This was the first show since a biking accident last fall left me paralyzed from the wait down. Im in a wheelchair so i was impressed with the accommodations made from the Festival Pier, got a nice little raised tent spot right to the left not a bad view. The Mars Volta was pretty sweet playing 4 new tracks plus
Goliath, Cedric killed it for sure. I was a little bummed they only played 5 songs and i bought the ticket mostly to see them 77$ a pop. I was totally impressed by Chris Cornell tho, cause i always thought hes kind of a dick, but it was awesome to see him play my favorite track; Spoonman. Overall totally worth it and im going back to the Festival Pier again for 311 and Sublime with Rome cause Sublime died with Bradley.
