AREA 39 was born back in 1995 but only lasted a year or so then all band members we went separate ways, after a chat with the original band members i kept the name and set off to make a musical future under the banner AREA 39…

2003 came round and AREA 39 was reborn…

2004 was the year AREA 39 released the debut album Stand Alone Together which gained radio airplay and reviews worldwide…

2009 came around and auditions for the live AREA 39 band were put into action and along came some great musicians that not only made the live sound very very good but also in some ways made Stand Alone Together sound better live…

AREA are a 6 piece concept/prog rock band based in Leeds, UK. Consisting of 2 lead guitars, drums, bass, keys and vocals the band are full of energy with powerful melodies, strong rhythms and music full of emotions and feelings, AREA 39 offers a very original sound but with a touch of something most concept/prog rock music lovers can recognise…

2010 was a year to remember for AREA 39 with live dates (support slots) for early 2010 and around mid 2010 we will be heading back into the studio to record a new album this has now been followed getting back in to the practice room to gear up for more live shows in late 2010 and early 2011…

We are now booking support slots for early 2011 and then it will be back into the practice room to bring a new live set to music fans around the UK…

AREA 39 are also interested in writing music for tv & film so if you are looking for a composer for a project you have running please feel free to give us a shout… …

[IN:AUDIUM]

[in:audium] formed late 2004. Since forming the band have played countless numbers of live shows around the UK and released their debut CD ‘Drawing Silence’ produced by John Spence (who has produced the likes of Terrorvision, Def Leppard etc.).

2006 has seen the band release the follow up to last years’ ‘Drawing Silence,’ entitled ‘Digital Saviour,’ which was again produced by John Spence.

[in:audium] are now performing as a three-piece and are enjoying the freedom and creativity this has afforded. New drummer Ben Booth is now a staple part of the [in:audium] sound. The band are currently in talks with a number of record labels and management agencies with the aim of bringing their music to a much wider audience. Catch them at a live show to get the full experience.

November 2008 has seen [in:audium] return to the studio to once again work with John Spence to create their new 3 track EP titled ‘Astor Place’. This EP showcases a new more complex and creative direction for the band resulting in their finest work to date. The EP will be released on most major online retailers and will also come in the form of a deluxe digipak CD.

“A grunge band with the muscle of an Ox and delicacy of a butterfly.” - Leeds Music Scene

“songs that are full of potential of becoming hits in clubs and on radio stations” - Metal Revolution Zine

“This is a band who are not afraid to play around and experiment with time signatures and odd sounds alongside full on crunching guitars.” - One Louder Radio

“Appearances are always worth catching. Impassioned and soaring vocals are impressive and the subtleties of the material come to the fore” - Music HQ

“[in:audium] are definitely ones to file in the “ones to watch” section.” - Leeds Music Scene

STARSCREEN

Starscreen
The best kept secret in Rock n Roll???

We think so, but then again we would cause thats just the kind of people we are! Starscreen have been on the local and national touring circuit for many years now and have played many high profile gigs all over the United Kingdom. They have described there style as “Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin and The Doors eating U2 for supper, whilst The Verve enjoy a cold glass of Bryan Ferry”.

Quite simply they are a Rock Band with a difference, extracting influences from The Who, U2, Pearl Jam, Johnny Cash, Led Zeppelin, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Deep Purple, The Doors, The Killers, Oasis, Rage Against The Machine, The Clash, The Artic Monkeys…the list is endless.

Unlike most standard rock bands Starscreen believe every song should be different, they are not content with sticking to one style and writing 10 of the same songs just to please the masses. They play music for the love, hence their continued determination.

In 2011 after nearly 6 months off from touring electrically as a band Starscreen have returned with a brand new batch of songs, all previous songs being scraped. Not because the old songs were bad, far from it, simply because Starscreen continue to grow with every new song. See for yourself at www.myspace.com/starscreenonline or facebook

GRETANOVA
http://www.facebook.com/pages/GretaNova/134058896643911
Melodic Rock/Metal from a writing team consisting of a garage worker, a punk, a speed garage enthusiast, a left handed guitarist who plays right handed and a drummer.
Biography Gretanova are a melodic rock/metal band from South Yorkshire with influences such as the Pixies, Muse, Deftones and the Clash. Formed in 2006 and having gone though several personnel changes, Gretanova are back with their 2nd EP “100th Idiot”, recorded in Rotherham in May 2010. With two brand new songs and one that former members will be familiar with, the new EP is a mix of melodic guitars, clashy drums, heavy basslines and shouty yet melodic vocals.
