Supernoise All Dayer Drei w/ The Retro Spankees, Skitanja, Jelas, Safari Park, Big 50p, Bad Pandas, Mayakovsky’s Parrot

Saturday April 16th. The Mothers Ruin.

Seven Bands upstairs 2pm til 10pm playing indie, electronica and noise.

Supernoise DJs downstairs 10pm - late playing everything from Brazilian

Post Punk to Japanese Reggae via Italo Horror Soundtracks, English Shoegaze and Detroit Techno.

The Retro Spankees.
Hyperactive band from Northhampton who play a mixture of jingly jangly twee, yelping E-number fuelled outbursts and analogue synth bleeps all sellotaped together into lovely pop songs that you’d happily bring home to meet your old dear.
Fresh from doing backing band duties for graphic novelist Alan Moore’s live outings they’re all ready to make you dance to their quirky brand of song crafting.

Skitanja
These gentlemen mix spazzcore punk and Nintendo style synth to produce some lovely noisy pop numbers.
“an excellently unhinged racket straddling jazz, gabber, punk and scuzzy IDM. Any given track can stretch itself between those parameters at will, jolting the senses with the acute mentallness of the maddest Adaadat records. Ace.” - Boomkat

The Jelas
This trio are surely a Bristolian Deerhoof. Angular instruments parts, weird time signatures, and boy/girl/boy vocal harmonies. Third album ‘Body Parts’ is out now.

Safari Park
Bournemouth based band who make fuzzy indie pop songs about beaches, piers and those tasty Calypso lollypops. Think Yo La Tengo.

Big Fifty Pence Piece
Female fronted Bristol based quad playing a mixture of melodic pop and riff heavy indie.

The Bad Pandas verse Mayakovsky’s Parrot
Rare outing from this pair of bands. Bad Pandas bring you alternative pop and Mayakovsky’s Parrot play skronk songs sung in European languages.
