Saturday May 28, it’s time for some decent electronica in Sugar Factory! On offer, one of the fastest rising stars in the scene today: Max Cooper. This UK based scientist annex producer is the living proof that these very diverse lifestyles can be effortless combined live on the dance floor. After a string of well received EP’s and remixes on respected labels such as Traum Schallplatten and veryverywrongindeed, he now can call people like John Digweed, Dubfire, Gui Boratto and Hot Chip his fans. His music is an amalgamation of techno, house, electro and minimal and is best described as highly emotional electronica.
Support this night comes from none other than our home-grown electronica hero Applescal! This techno-wunderkind and former “Grote prijs van Nederland”-winner (biggest Dutch talent competition) has already 2 albums, a string of successful remixes and a couple legendary shows signed to his name… at the age of only 22! With his signature down tempo techno sound that isn’t afraid to delve deep, he has the tools and ability to make every crowd move. Something that is going to happen in Sugar Factory for sure!
