well, it's no turn on the bright lights, that's for sure, but antics' highlights just get me every time (opening with "next exit" and that bassline on "evil"), and the album feels well balanced to me from beginning to end, but I could do without "c'mere" I guess, its lyrics really bug me

It's solid and consistent, but I wouldn't say it's perfect. I'm sure it's better than their post- releases (though I haven't actually heard anything, save 2 songs, after 'Antics'), but I don't think it's entirely compelling in the long run. It has a few highlights, but the rest kind of becomes forgettable.
