Bob Dylan has announced that in addition to his performances at the East and West Coast Blues and Roots Festivals this April he will play four sideshows, including one very special gig in Adelaide with guitar legend BB King.

At nearly 70 years of age Bob Dylan remains a prolific song-writer and performer, having released close to 50 albums throughout his career and playing close to 100 shows a year. The King of Counterculture’s most recent record Together Through Life was released in 2009 and described by Rolling Stone as “Rich in striking moments, set in a willful rawness, and comes with a wicked finish.”

Bob Dylan Bluesfest sideshow dates:

Tuesday 19th April – Entertainment Centre, Adelaide ( with BB King )
Wednesday 20th April – Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
Saturday 23rd April – WIN Entertainment Centre, Wollongong
Wednesday 27th April – Entertainment Centre, Sydney

Tickets on sale Monday 31st January.

mind-blowing. setlist was all i could ever hope for. maybe some of his vocal arrangements for the night didnt suit some of the songs, still, it was incredible :D

Went with my Pop. Was AWESOMMMEEEE!!!! Can't believe he played Ballad of a thin man!!!! Real blues orientated!! Anyone else think Paul Kelly sounds like a gospel singer? DO YA MISTER JONES!!!
