Do you know the sound of Norway ? You should because Kaizers Orchestra is definitely the MUST SEE tour of this year. After their huge success around the world they are coming for the first time to Luxembourg. On March 24th they will start their European tour at the Rockhal Club, so all you KO fans, come danse and polka with us!

Kaizers Orchestra will hit Luxembourg straight from Norway to present their sixth album “Violeta Violeta” which will be released as a trilogy on three different dates in 2011 & 2012.

Although the band doesn’t pretend to be alternative, they are one of a kind; mixing up different types of music, from fast-paced gypsy rock to Polka from Indy to “Balkan Brass”. The Kaizers were founded in 2000, right after the members had partied like it was 1999, at a time people thought the world was going to end. This chaotic time definitely brought something unexpected and exciting into their music. Speaking of itself, the lyrics are always in norwegian, for the upcoming album “ violeta violeta” they are based around three characters bringing some magic realism similar to Tim Burton’s movies.

Kaizers Orchestra became a major hype all over Europe, also due to their incredible live performances. They won several awards for best live act and they are still willing to prove you their amazing skills on stage. There is, yet, no word to describe them, it’s all about feeling and listening.

So go on, go get the Kaizers-Virus on March 24th at the Rockhal Club while there is still no antidote !
