Wed 16 Mar – Girl Talk, Max Tundra, Junk Culture
Dance party U.S.A.... that's what I participated in Wednesday night at The Showbox Sodo. The shirtless Girl Talk kept the crowd going with every song/beat he put on. No dull moments at all. I, had, the time of my life. With a lengthy set, I had an easy time walking away satisfied. He didn't play for too short of a time, or too long.
I made it in time to see the last couple songs from the first opener, Junk Culture... eh, in my opinion kind of boring, but whatev. I did enjoy watching the next opener, Max Tundra; he had a ton of energy and many dance moves to add to his musical performance. And about his music... I don't really remember it; didn't stick in my memory during my drunken state, but what did stick was a memory of his energy. He was having so much fun up on stage, and in turn I was having fun.
If you're reading this, contemplating going to a future Girl Talk show... don't hesitate anymore, just go. …
