New To Q Sessions live shows, which will take place from 24 to 28 January 2011 at Bush Hall, Shepherd’s Bush, London have been announced. New To Q Sessions aims to showcase outstanding new artists for the year ahead.


This year’s line-up is as follows:

24 Jan 2011 - Funeral Party, Kid Adrift, Liz Lawrence
25 Jan 2011 - Clare Maguire, Primary 1, Liam Bailey
26 Jan 2011 - Noah And The Whale, Ben Howard, Alice Gold
27 Jan 2011 - Egyptian Hip Hop, Dutch Uncles
28 Jan 2011 - The Pierces, Murray James, David Lyre

These shows follow last year’s inaugural event, which featured the likes of Ellie Goulding, Marina & The Diamonds and I Blame Coco.

Manchester experimental popsters Egyptian Hip Hop do the honours on 27th January, with support coming from Dutch Uncles.

Q’s Editor-In-Chief, Paul Rees: “I said last year that one of Q’s foremost aims moving forward was to become very actively involved in championing and staging the best new music. I’m delighted that we are now very much on the way to establishing the New To Q Sessions as an important fixture on the music calendar – and that this year’s outstanding line-up will bring an array of great music for the Q audience to discover.”
