Dirty Weekend are the bi-product of a 100 bad nights out with bad people, on bad drugs, in bad cities, this surely must equal a bad band you say! Well I suppose you can make your own mind up about that. Basically life was boring so we formed a band. Weve done over 150 gigs in the last year or so, taking in cities all over the UK. I Always struggle to compartmentalize our sound, the music we write is normally the sum of a horrendous come down with occasional flashes of the Saturday night previous. We like unfashionable bands like Gentle Giant and King Crimson but still have a penchant for a good old fashioned anthem, we were all starry eyed Oasis loving kids at one point. I don’t really know what the future has in stall for us lot, wouldnt mind conquering the world one day, but then again that does seem like a lot of hard work. So come, listen and look and BRING YOU’RE PARANOIA TO THE PARTY.
