Sat 14 Aug – Arcade Fire, Janelle Monáe, The Sadies

I've never experienced a crowd come to life so fully as I have at an Arcade Fire show. Massive singalongs to Funeral classics sets people's souls on fire. The feeling is palpable and tangible, a united energy with the band at the heart. Amazing. Some of the Suburbs and Neon Bible songs didn't quite go to the same heights, but those performances didn't fall far short of the beloved Funeral material.

Janelle Monae was pretty great as well. A real artist brimming with talent.
