Just a note about this venue, I went to see Band of Horses play the Williamsburg Waterfront last night as my first time to that venue. Security there was tighter than at an airport. The line for a 21+ bracelet was a mile long. Which is separate from the lines to get an actual drink. My friends and i actually just wanted to get some food, but the food tents were in the sectioned off area for those with 21+ bracelets. and by the way we're all over 30. The rest of the floor was also gated off and heavily guarded by event staff who would only let people in when it wasn't "at capacity" which they claimed even though there was clearly space inside and at least 20% of the audience was outside these barricades. So either the event staff were unnecessarily stringent with letting people into a show for which they paid a decent amount to see, or the event organizers sold more tickets than there was capacity. Whichever the case, this venue is a scam, and nothing like what McCarren used to be.
