Goo1234 @KaiserInsane you misunderstood my comment. Sonic Youth is smart enough to know that a free show is gonna attract a lot people who want to see a free show regardless of whether or not they like the band that's playing. Not only that, but you get the people who only know kool thing and superstar. Sonic Youth isn't the type of band to cater to that type of crowd, which is what I was saying in my original comment. They played that show to core fans.

inpartiesss also, some fat australians with demonic updos tried to trample me thirty minutes into the set. i became a mountain and denied them. one, having obviously never heard a lick of sy before then, described kim gordon as "fabulous" (which she is) before proceeding to call someone on her phone AS kim gordon was belting her heart out to the audience via her sonic energies. what loyal fans you have my dear!

eighteenforever this was so epic. easily the best performance by them out of the three times that i have seem them. AND SHAKING HELL WAS SO FUCKING AWESOME!!!
