Feel Presents are proud to announce the first ever Australian tour for former Mazzy Star frontwoman, Hope Sandoval. Hope will be appearing with the backing of her band The Warm Inventions (featuring My Bloody Valentine’s Colm O’Ciosoig) for four exclusive Australian performances.

Hope Sandoval first launched herself into public consciousness during the 1990s as the voice of iconic indie-outfit, Mazzy Star. A collaboration between Hope and former Opal guitarist Dave Roback, Mazzy Star issued three albums of hazy post-psychedelia (including the MTV hit Fade Into You) to massive critical acclaim and an ever growing fanbase.

In 2001, Hope, with the aid of My Bloody Valentine’s Colm O’Ciosoig, embarked on a solo career. Bavarian Fruit Bread (featuring the classics Suzanne & Around My Smile), was the first initiative of this new collaboration and carried on the dream-laden Mazzy Star sound. An eight year break followed before the arrival of a second solo album ‘Through the Devil Softly’, featuring the new single, ‘Trouble’.

Joining Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions for all Australian shows will be Dirty Three guitarist Mick Turner (with Jeffrey Wegener) as well as new US outfit Dirt Blue Gene a/k/a The Warm Inventions.

Don’t miss what will be one of the most anticipated tours of this or any other year: Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions, live this June.

Ticket price: $69.20

From what i've read, Hope Sandoval does this often "sound issues". Didn't really bother me, I thought it was more to do with her introversion. I actually thought the sound was a hell of a lot better when she came back on though. All in all, a wonderful experience to see her live :).
