Stefan Lievestro Trio: Jasper Soffers piano, Stefan Lievestro bas, Hans van Oosterhout drums
Altsaxofonist Lars Dietrich, gitarist Reinier Baas en bassist Ruben Samama strijden dit jaar om de Deloitte Jazz Award. De prijs van 20.000 euro is bestemd voor getalenteerde jazzmusici die in Nederland gevestigd zijn en aan het begin van een internationale carrière staan. De finalisten worden op het podium begeleid door het trio van bassist en voormalig winnaar Stefan Lievestro. De jury bestaat uit Benjamin Herman, Amanda Kuyper, Jan Menu, Jacobien Tamsma en Bert Vuijsje. De presentatie is in handen van Wilfried de Jong.

Alto saxophone player Lars Dietrich, guitarist Reinier Baas and bassist Ruben Samama will be competing tonight for the Deloitte Jazz Award, the incentive prize for talented jazz musicians resident in the Netherlands at the outset of their international careers. This is the ninth time the 20,000 Euro prize will be awarded. The finalists will be accompanied on stage by the trio of bassists and former prize winner Stefan Lievestro. Jury members are Benjamin Herman, Amanda Kuyper, Jan Menu, Jacobien Tamsma and Bert Vuijsje. Tonight’s MC is Wilfried de Jong.
