The Billy Joel & Elton John Face 2 Face concert originally scheduled for November 25 at the Ford Center has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 7:30pm.
Due to demand for tickets, Live Nation Entertainment officials have opened additional seats for sale. Live Nation President, Bob Roux said, “The seats are fantastic and the audience sight lines are perfect on both sides of the stage. The shows production is designed to allow the audience to see Billy Joel and Elton John’s performance from any location within the arena. The show incorporates full 360 degree, state of the art sound and video.”
According to recent reviews of the Face 2 Face tour, fans can expect to be “captivated” as Billy Joel & Elton John “keep the hits coming.” Billy and Elton open the concert with a series of duets, playing twin pianos and trading vocals. Each artist then performs a set with his own band. A grand finale brings the two superstars and their supporting musicians back together for a closing encore. This includes some of both Billy and Elton’s greatest hits along with an unpredictable selection of rock and roll classics.
