Great show in a great venue, fantastic sound system. I am relatively new to PT and the last show of theirs I attended (at Berklee in Boston) featured mostly Deadwing / In Absentia material. For that reason, I was very happy they focused on older material and also played some tracks from The Incident and Fear of a Blank Planet. But that's just me! I certainly understood the sentiment of those who kept screaming "Trains" but of course you only need to scream that once! ...And not even at all, really, when you think about it, since it isn't like the setlist is request-based. The crowd can sit down/stand up/lose their minds as they wish, but I thought Mr. Wilson & Co. were having a great time and tore the roof off that place.

Pretty solid setlist. Coulda done without anything from 'Fear' but everyone seemed to enjoy that stuff for some reason. Definitely shoulda closed with 'Radioactive Toy' when you're promoting the set as having older jams, though. Arriving Somewhere as closer = Do Not Want. Also, anyone telling other people to sit down need to shut the fuck and go home. Or if you were yelling 'Trains' the whole night. They play that every other show. Be quiet. But whatever they played some Sky Moves Sideways and Up the Downstair jams. And "Pure Narcotic." And that was worth the trip alone.

I wanted more oldies, but hey, the old stuff they did play sounded fantastic. I left a comment earlier saying I didn't need to see them play Anesthetize live for the third time, but they played it anyway (well, the middle of it) just to spite me.

I FUCKING LOVED THAT SHOW. they played some great obscure gems and had some AMAZING acoustic renditions. I just wish they played shallow, prodigal, blackest eyes, piano lessons, and TRAINS DAMN IT. Fadeaway woulda been a nice oldie too. nevertheless i had a boner the whole time.
