M-.-n
M-.-n, Dot.AY and AndyEXPANDY
First major Chip Music event of 2010 and you can be there for FREE
M-.-n or Marc Nostromo started digging the guts of the Gameboy in June 2004… Since then, he’s been developing a specific style by taking a straight electro-dance floor approach, combined with gritty sounds & high drills that he now refers to as ‘discodirt’. He’s been taking his Gameboys on the road in many countries including his homeland, Belgium, but also France, U.K, US, Sweden, Netherlands and Australia.
Recently he has been working on his own software for the GP2X and PSP based on the Game Boy sequencer format but being sample based. This software called LittleGPTracker is now being used by Chip Musicians the world over.

Dot.AY and AndyExpandy met inbetween the valley and chinatown malls while Dot.AY was busking on Game Boy’s with 10k Free Men (syd). Since then they have shared a vision of Chip Music being blared in venues all across Brisbane. Dot.AY, is now a veteran performer having played with the likes of Crystal Castles, Dan Deacon and Girl Talk as well as playing in Sydney and Melbourne on occasion. AndyExpandy is a newcomer to performing but has big talent and potential in the Game Boy Music world. His songs are powerful and melodic whilst Dot.AY’s are noisy and aggressive. Together they encompass what Brisbane Chip Music should be: eclectic, diverse and above all else fun!!
