Florence & the Machine’s concert in Singapore is finally a reality. Yes ~ the flame-haired ingénue Florence Welch and her Band, the Machine, will perform in Singapore for the first time on Sunday, February 7 at Esplanade Theatre. She won the coveted Critic’s Choice Brit Award for 2009 and is touted by the BBC as one of 2009’s hottest properties. This soul inspired indie Band with their near-brilliant lyricism, eclectic mix of music and dramatic performances will have the fans absorbing every sound, lyric and action.

Opening the show on February 7 are the beguiling London three-piece The xx.
Described as “something seductively special” and “confoundly good” their star has risen to exceptional heights since their debut and shows no signs of waning. Their own music agenda with harmonizing voices and a unique fusion of synthetics and live instrumentation is powerful and resonates with fans and critics alike.

These two compelling live acts on the one bill on one night will be a treat that Singapore fans will long remember.

Florence +The Machine = EPIC.the second flo comes out, all i wanted to do is jump from the second floor and rush to the front. like literally;( but as i see that there's people below.......sigh.if only i could crush them. those who came for only xx.boo you suck--
