All I Want For Xmas…

THE ANGEL’S SHARE ALL DAY CHRISTMAS PARTY!

From 2pm The Angel’s Share Christmas Special will be raising your festive spirits with sets from some of Yorkshire’s finest including The Spirit of John, a Leeds-based Punky, Americana/Folk 2 piece (guitarist/singer and double-bass player) with an entertaining habit of playing gratuitous amounts of music, sometimes known to continue to busk outside venues after gigs!

Killing Fields of Ontario are an Alternative Folk-Rock four piece band from Sheffield currently putting finishing touches on their debut album, partly recorded in a church!

Prolific live performers Mojo 57 are a three piece playing Real Deep South porch sittin’ blues with a lot of soul.

Demon harmonica player Jordan Senior takes a break from writing music for short films, tv shows and adverts to play songs from his new album Cold Calling.

Talented young stalwart of the Leeds anti-folk scene Sam Airey will be showing material from his debut EP, to be released in January.

We welcome for the first time Maggie 8, possibly the most diverse act on Leeds music scene right now, describing themselves as a little bit pop, a little bit folk, Hindustani classical with some old Bollywood tinges, ace.

Old faves Gang of Eagles are fronted by a Scottish Johnny Cash not only equipped with a stunning grace of guitar ability, wit and charm.

Completing our line up are old favourite in a new form The Wilbur & Orville Show, guitar and accordion from Stu Wright of Leeds based indie rockers Vinyl Collide down and out in Paris and haunted circus sideshow.

So sit back and enjoy the calm before the Christmas Day madness, with Dead Young DJs, a mince pie and mulled wine (only £3.00!) or some of the top grub from the new American Kitchen with freshly made burgers starting from under a fiver and pints for as little as £2.50.
