ROZZ WILLIAMS IN MEMORIAM PARTY 3

This event is dedicated to the deathrock legend Rozz Williams, founder and leader of Christian Death who comitted suicide on the April 1st 1998.

Just a few days after the 12th anniversary of his death we will gather in Warsaw, Poland at the memorial party co-hosted by Bat-Cave.pl portal. The main part of the event will comprise of live performance of two bands:

Jacquy Bitch:

In 1991 Jacquy Bitch launched his solo career, leaving behind him his previous group Neva a group that disbanded in 1989 following two essential albums. Releasing two self produced cassettes and a video comprising concert clips and other assorted extracts, Jacquy Bitch soon confirmed his position as a cult figure of the French ‘electro-batcave’ scene. Noted for concerts that were a mix of the baroque theatrical, and performances sprinkled with surrealist language and apocalyptic imagery, Jacquy Bitch brought out a Mini 5 track CD containing the indispensable "Jesus", then a first CD "Coram" released on the Dark Side label in 1998. The "Clown of the Macabre" stepped out from the shadows again in 2003 with the release of "Haine", an album full of powerful industrial electro-rock, and the habitual Jacquy Bitch batcave and new wave influences that had become his trade mark. The last album produced in 2007 by Alone Prod, "Stories From The Old Years" signed a return to basics of the genre. Well received by international critics in the specialized press (Gothic Mag, Elegy, D-Side) or on the web, this album allowed Jacquy Bitch to play on international festivals as Waregem (Belgium), Wave Gothic Treffen (Liepzieg), Castle Party (Poland). Next album is due to be released in 2010.

The Proof:

One of the most original bands of the polish dark scene, combining deathrock and batcave with highly theatrical deliverance. The band starting with the name of Future Proof, was founded in 2001 in polish town of Rybnik. A year later saw the emergance of their first demo "Pierwszy Dotyk" followed by "Spacerując Wśród Cieni" in 2005. In 2006 the band shortened their name to The Proof, and to this day comprises of vocalist Baton (known for his time in the seminal 90's goth rock band Dom Snów), Żaba on guitar and Josef on keyboards. Their live performances are a highly unconventional and surprising experience, seldom to be found on the modern day gothic scene. The band will also perform at Castle Party in summer 2010.

Impreza poświęcona legendarnemu liderowi Christian Death Rozzowi Williamsowi, który zmarł samobójczą śmiercią 1 kwietnia 1998 roku.

Tuż po 12 rocznicy jego śmierci spotykamy się w Warszawie na imprezie współorganizowanej przez portal www.bat-cave.pl.

Jacquy Bitch - francuski zespół z pogranicza batcave, rocka gotyckiego i electro-industrialu powstały w 1989 roku na gruzach legendarnej formacji Neva. Muzycy zaangażowani również w działalność znakomitego Brotherhood of Pagans dzięki takim albumom jak “Coram” (1998), “Haine” (2003) i “Stories From The Old Years” (2007) na stałe wpisali się do czołówki światowej sceny Dark Independent. Apokaliptyczny przekaz, opętańcze wokalizy i drapieżna, gitarowo-elektroniczna muzyka to ich znak rozpoznawczy. Zespół dał się poznać polskiej publiczności podczas Castle Party w 2009 roku.

The Proof – jedyny w swoim rodzaju zespół z kręgu batcave, gothmacabress, dark wave. Powstał w 2003 roku w Rybniku pod nazwą Future Proof. Rok później ukazało się demo "Pierwszy dotyk" (2004) a następnie "Spacerując wśród cierni" (2005). W czerwcu 2006 nazwa została skrócona do The Proof. Pod tym szyldem tworzą znany z działającego w latach 90-tych i nieodżałowanego Domu Snów Baton (wokal) oraz Żaba (gitara) i Josef (klawisze). Ich koncerty to niekonwencjonalne i zaskakujące, mroczne misterium. Zespół wystąpi na Castle Party 2010.
