Description
The year 2009 is nearly over and at Club Braincorp, we can look back at one of the best years in our entire history. We had lots of big events and a lot of people came, it has truly been a pleasure.
We have already started to think about the new year 2010, and the first concert we are doing is the amazing Industrial/Future Pop band from USA called Assemblage 23, who will play their first concert in 7 years in Copenhagen! Last time was in January 2003, where Assemblage 23 played together with Icon of Coil.
As opening act, we have booked the great Industrial/EBM from Sweden called Run Level Zero. The concert will be held at the venue NP25, a venue that has a great PA system with amazing sound and great lights.
Assemblage 23:
It´s an honour to finally have Assemblage 23 back after 7 years of absence. It was too long ago that they played here. Assemblage 23 is a legendary band nowadays with more than 7 albums released on the German label Accession Records (also home of Diary Of Dreams, SITD, Diorama etc.) Assemblage 23 plays a mixture of Industrial/EBM and Future Pop and will please fans of Covenant, VNV Nation, Apoptygma Berzerk (the old stuff).
Assemblage 23 has also created a lot of club hits like “Surface”, “Let Me Bo Your Armour”, “Disappoint” , “Naked”, “I am The Rain”, “Drive”, “Document”, “Let The Wind Erase Me”, “Binary” and the brand new hit “Spark” from Assemblage 23 new album “Compass” where they goes even further with a bunch of great and melodic songs. The new album is produced and mastered by Dasid Din from the American band Informatik who opened for Mesh in November 2009. Maybe this is the last chance to see Assemblage 23 in Copenhagen!
Run Level Zero:
Hailing from Stockholm in Sweden comes the highly acclaimed Industrial/EBM band Run Level Zero who have released 3 albums on the label Memento Materia. Run Level Zero has been on tour with VNV Nation and has played at several festivals in Europe. They are already confirmed to play at the famous festival called Kinetik in Canada in 2010. In January 2008 Run Level Zero released their latest album “Artic Noise” which showed a greater and a more up to date sound for the band, better melodies and a more danceable sound. You can still hear that one of their inspirations is the legendary Canadian band Frontline Assembly.
Through the years, Run Level Zero have created a few club smashers like: “Black Cinder”, “Shadows Merging” and “Short Cuts” to mention a few. Here is a chance to see one of Sweden´s best music export, again in Copenhagen.
DJ Orlando & DJ Brain will play as DJ´s.
