De gebruikelijke foto van de Amerikaanse band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club: drie niet al te vrolijk ogende mannen, meestal gehuld in donkere, zo niet leren, kleding. Er lijkt op het eerste oog niet veel veranderd, de foto´s zijn nog immer rauw en donker, maar één van de drie is ineens een vrouw. BRMC zit vol nieuws: op 8 maart 2010 komt de nieuwe plaat `Beat the Devil´s Tattoo´ uit. Het is de eerste release op hun eigen platenlabel Abstract Dragon. En het is de eerst plaat met Leah Shapiro (van The Raveonettes) achter het drumstel in plaats van drummer Nick Jago, die de band in 2008 verliet. De verwachtingen zijn hooggespannen.

    Nou, ik zie het allemaal wel in Tivoli, maar blijf sceptisch. Niet dat het me veel uitmaakt, ik heb ze ergens in 2001 of 2002 ook al gezien en later ook nog wel een paar keer. Ken ze dus al vanaf hun debuut. Verder maakt het me geen ene malle moer uit of iemand op het balkon wil zitten, of waar iemand z'n bierglazen neer flikkerd, als de boel maar rockt en mensen lekker uit hun plaat gaan en niet zo zeiken.

    heheh :D it's an eternal discussion between supporters of heavy dancing (c'mon sometimes it's just impossible cause your feet move by themselves! :DD) and standing (or even sitting!) still contemplating (which is also important, as I for example have to observe instruments being played on. In details! :). As a representant of both sides to some extent, I think it's impossible to solve it ;> the best is to let all people do what they want ;) Unfortunately enough in case of pogo, the only way to survive it is to join jumping :D (but, as I said, if you think on Thursday in Paradiso it was too much, I can only laugh :P)

    I think I pretty much agree with you. By the way, do you people also complain about people dancing in a discotheque, because in my oppinion a concert is still a music event and music ALWAYS involves dancing.
