SHOT BY BOTH SIDES - London’s premier purveyors of arcane, outlandish and fantastical musical delights - rise like a rocket from the tombs, on (fittingly) Friday 13th November, at the ever-splendid Brixton Windmill. This will also be the launch party for David Cronenberg’s Wife’s new LP, and features one of our finest line-ups so far.

Expect a thrilling soundtrack of wonky psych, gritty ’60s garage, gnarled folk, freak-out jazz, girl groups, C86 indie and Northern Soul, poetry, free ‘zines, stories, various handouts, humanoid monstrosities, some peculiar visual treats, cakes, a few out-of-the-hat surprises and some sensational live sets…
